# Hoppie audio component license copies

These files preserve the original third-party license and attribution texts for
the noise-suppression assets and native audio processing bundled with Hoppie.
They do not change the components' licenses. The build emits every file as
`assets/audio-<filename>.<sha256-prefix>.txt` (Markdown filenames become `.txt`);
the prefix is the first 16 hexadecimal characters of the emitted text's SHA-256.

## Noise suppression

- `noise-suppression-NOTICE.md` is copied from
  `src/features/voice/utils/noise_suppression/NOTICE.md`, including its notices
  describing the modified worklet processors and their upstream components.
- `noise-worklets-LICENSE-MIT.txt` is the unmodified `LICENSE` from the installed
  `@sapphi-red/web-noise-suppressor` 0.4.0 package.
- `rnnoise-wasm-LICENSE-APACHE.txt` is the unmodified `LICENSE` from
  <https://github.com/shiguredo/rnnoise-wasm/tree/2022.2.0>.
  That version's `build-rnnoise.sh` pins the RNNoise fork to 2022.1.0;
  `rnnoise-wasm-RNNOISE-COPYING.txt` is the unmodified `COPYING` from
  <https://github.com/shiguredo/rnnoise/tree/2022.1.0>.
- `deepfilter-runtime-LICENSE-MIT.txt` and
  `deepfilter-runtime-LICENSE-APACHE.txt` are the original root license files
  from DeepFilterNet revision `d375b2d8309e0935d165700c91da9de862a99c31`, pinned by
  `rust/deep_filter/Cargo.toml`. They accompany the app-owned WASM runtime built
  from that source.
- `deepfilter-distribution-LICENSE-MIT.txt` and
  `deepfilter-distribution-LICENSE-APACHE.txt` are copied unchanged from
  `src/features/voice/utils/deepfilter/`; `deepfilter-distribution-NOTICE.md` is
  copied from `fluxer_static/libs/deepfilternet3/NOTICE.md`. They describe the
  separately hosted reviewed v2 WASM/model distribution referenced by
  `deepfilternet3-noise-filter` 1.2.1. Shipping these notices does not change where
  the model is loaded or make the model available offline.

## Native WebRTC audio processing

The following files are copied unchanged from
`fluxer_desktop/native/audio-apm/vendor/`. Hoppie's local native build changes
are described in that directory's existing `README.md`.

`abseil-LICENSE-APACHE.txt` and `abseil-AUTHORS.txt` are unmodified copies from
<https://github.com/abseil/abseil-cpp/tree/20240722.0>, the version pinned by the
vendored WebRTC `subprojects/abseil-cpp.wrap`. Build-time caches are not required
to redistribute these copies.
